Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series
Kincrome to back the Hard Chargers
Once again, thank you to the support from Kincrome, the Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series will be recognising the Hard Charger in each feature round of the series.
This award will go to the driver who passes the most amount of cars in each feature race.
It is not simply based on where a driver starts a feature race and where they finish – so it could be someone who drops back through the pack from their original starting position and passes the most amount of cars.
Each round winner of the Hard Charger award will be presented with a $500 tool voucher from Kincrome – and have their photograph taken when receiving the prize.
The first round of the series will be held at the Perth Motorplex on Saturday, October 18, with the event being the City of Kwinana Powerpalooza.
Last year the Powerpalooza was won by Queenslander Ryan Newton, who started the event from p2.
Runner up was New Zealander Michael Pickens, who started from p4, while third went to Brad Maiolo, who raced up from p8.
The Kincrome Hard Charger for Round 1 went to Kris Coyle w ho finished 8th, after originally starting from p15.
