Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series
Kingshott strikes gold in Kalgoorlie
Dayne Kingshott claimed the penultimate round of the Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series at Kalgoorlie International Speedway on Saturday night.
He won the 30-lap final from Kaiden Manders and Callum Williamson.
Kingshott started from p2 and despite surrendering the early lead to Williamson, he went on to win the final and continue his strong season in the Krikke Motorsport W2.
The feature race went non-stop with Manders and Williamson trading spots a couple of times, before Manders, in the Dan Golding Racing W71, winning the battle, from Williamson, in the Diamond Bay Motorsport W26
Jason Pryde, who started from p4, was fourth, ahead of Jason Kendrick, who started from p6, Ryan Farrell, from p7, Daniel Harding, from p11, Jack Williamson from p9, Jaydee Dack, from p8 and Kris Coyle, who started from p13, rounded out the top 10.
They were followed over the line by Chad Pittard, Myles Bolger, Kodi Clayden, Taylor Milling, Harrison Peet and Brooke Newson.
Harding set the Victory 1 Performance Quick Time at the start of the show, while heat race wins went to Kendrick and Harding, before Kingshott and Williamson won the Revolution Racegear Dashes, setting up their front row clash.
The series wraps up with the Maddington Toyota Grand Final at the Perth Motorplex next Saturday night, March 28.
