Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series

Next stop - Geraldton for Rounds 18 and 19!

The Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series is going on the road.

On Saturday, February 28 and Sunday, March 1, the series hits the Mid West when rounds 18-19 of the series will be contested at Geraldton City Speedway.

This is the first time the series has been to Geraldton and WA’s leading drivers are locked into the two-night battle which will be held over the March long weekend.

Series leader and defending series champion Dayne Kingshott heads up the list of nominations.

He has claimed four wins so far this season and is the man to beat.

Of the 17 feature rounds he has contested, he has been in the top five on 11 occasions and the top 10 on 16 of those shows.

The fact that he has only been out of the top 10 once speaks volumes of his season.

Most attention however will be on home-town hero Callum Williamson who is fired up to put on a big show in front of his local fans.

Williamson, a former two-time series champion, is second overall in the season points and has one feature race win to his credit so far for 2025-26.

He has been in the top five on seven occasions, and in the top 10 on 12 occasions - something the W3 is hoping to improve on this weekend.

Third is Kaiden Manders, a very experienced racer, particularly when it comes to regional WA tracks.

He has two feature race wins already this season, been in the top five on six occasions and in the top 10 on 10 occasions.

Fourth is Daniel Harding.

While he is yet to win a feature race, he has gone close on a number of occasions, with four top five appearances and eight top 10 finishes.

Rounding out the top five making their way to Geraldton is former three-time series champion Jason Kendrick who is also yet to claim a win this season, but has two third places and been in the top 10 on nine occasions.

Will one of these drivers or someone else break through to take one of the two races up for grabs in Geraldton next week?

Be trackside to find out.
