Jamie Maiolo becomes fourth person inducted to MTSS Hall of Fame
Jamie Maiolo became only the fourth person to be inducted into the Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series Hall of Fame on Saturday night.
He follows in the footsteps of Geoff Kendrick, Con Migro and Des Ferris who were inducted by the Sprintcar Entrants Group 12 months earlier.
In front of 300 people at the annual awards night, at Burswood on Swan, Maiolo’s statistics were read out by Gavin Migro from the Perth Motorplex.
This includes being the series champion on seven occasions and finishing in top 10 of the championship on 21 occasions (including 19 in a row).
Apart from winning the championship on seven occasions, he was in the top 3 on 11 occasions in total - and won the first round of the series, at Bunbury Speedway on October 21, 2000.
